Devenyr: alternative rock with its own identity

Devenyr comes from the urge to create from contradiction: the desire to be and, at the same time, to stop being.

The name takes the philosophical concept of “becoming”: a constant state of transformation where nothing is fixed. Like rock — which explodes, mutates and reinvents itself — our music is change. Lyrics from lived experience, a stage-first sound, and a look at cultural tensions in Colombia’s Coffee Region.

Founded by Santiago Aristizábal in Pereira, Colombia, Devenyr connects with young adults who find their cultural identity in rock. It isn’t just a name: it’s a way of understanding existence and creation.
